Thursday, Nov 28

  • Letters From Wintertime Characters
    Through Dec 2, Online
    Celebrate the season with personalized letters from Santa and other wintertime characters, provided by Tualatin Parks & Recreation. Volunteers will craft handwritten messages based on registration details. This free program requires individual registration for each child to ensure personalized letters, which will be mailed on December 15.

  • Tim Tank Memorial Turkey Trot
    8am, NW Oak Hills Drive and NW 153rd, Beaverton
    Join the 1st annual Tim Tank Memorial Turkey Trot, a 5K fun run/walk on Thanksgiving morning in Oak Hills, honoring Tim's legacy and supporting a Beaverton School District scholarship fund. Make sure to register and bring 2 cans of food per person!

  • Letters to Santa
    Nov 29-Dec 24, Bridgeport Village
    Kids can share their holiday wishes with Santa by writing letters and dropping them off at his magical mailbox located near Santa's Gingerbread Cottage at Bridgeport Village (near the Regal Cinema).

  • Visits and Photos with Santa
    Nov 29-Dec 24, Bridgeport Village, check website for times and reservations
    Have a visit with Santa, take photos, and make a wish at Santa’s Gingerbread Cottage in Bridgeport Village (near the Regal Cinema). Reservations required.

  • Winter Wonderland Festival and Horse Drawn Carriage Rides
    10am-4pm, Lee Farms, Tualatin
    Enjoy horse-drawn carriage rides and family fun at the Winter Wonderland Festival, featuring holiday displays, activities, and farm animal feeding!

  • Harvest Hike
    10am-11am, Jenkins Estate, Beaverton
    Enjoy a scenic 2-mile family hike at Jenkins Estate the day after Thanksgiving, rain or shine.

  • Thanksgiving Artisan Foodie Fest
    12pm-7:30pm, Resolu Cellars, Beaverton
    Enjoy a celebration of flavors, unique gifts, and music! Enjoy complimentary tasters, floral and gift options, and Well Played Wines featuring low- and non-alcoholic selections. Live music by Cliff Dunn on Friday evening at 5:30 PM.

  • Forest Grove Holiday Tree Lighting
    6pm-7:30pm, Forest Grove Senior and Community Center
    Join the 2024 Forest Grove Holiday Tree Lighting for music, cheer, and festive family fun!

  • Letters to Santa
    Nov 30 - Dec 18, check the website for drop box locations
    Send your letter to Santa by dropping it in one of the red Santa’s Mailboxes at THPRD facilities. Be sure to include your name and return address for a reply from Santa!

  • Forest Grove Elk’s Lodge Holiday Bazaar
    9am-3pm, Elks Lodge, Forest Grove
    Support Elkette Charities as you visit 40+ vendors with handmade items.

  • Holiday Market
    9am-3pm, Farmington Gardens, Beaverton
    Enjoy over 70 local artisans and craft vendors, food and drink, and wreath workshops. Take pictures with Santa and enjoy live music from 11am-2pm. A perfect festive outing!

  • Holiday Parade and Santa’s Arrival Celebration
    10am-1pm, Bridgeport Village
    Kick off the holiday season with a joyful morning parade featuring Santa, Mrs. Claus, and their North Pole friends, plus caroling, arts & crafts, and festive activities for all ages!

  • Small Business Saturday
    10am-4pm, Al’s of Sherwood
    Celebrate Small Business Saturday at Al’s with over 30 local artists, makers, and small businesses showcasing unique holiday gifts. Enjoy festive drinks at Sip while supporting talented community creators and shopping local.
